1) Information we collect

From riders

  • Identity & Right-to-Work: name, DOB, photo ID, right-to-work documents, proof of address, contact details.
  • Contractual: self-employment agreement, onboarding forms, induction records.
  • Financial: bank details, invoices, payment history.
  • Work data: assignments, rotas/timesheets, DSP placement history.
  • Communications: messages, emails, call notes with Trap Couriers.

From DSPs / clients

  • Company details, contact person, email, phone, service agreements, invoicing & payment records, correspondence.

From website visitors

  • Technical data (IP address, browser type) and cookies/usage analytics.
2) How we use your information
  • Verify identity and right-to-work of riders.
  • Manage onboarding, contracts, rosters, and rider–DSP assignments.

  • Rider onboarding & right-to-work: for the time you are on our roster + up to 6 years after.
  • Payroll, invoicing, contracts: 6 years (legal requirement).
  • Client records: contract duration + 6 years.
  • Website analytics: typically anonymised and kept for shorter periods.
6) International transfers

If data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses.
